The DEFEAT HUNGER© Campaign is a partnership between FPSA, the FPSA Foundation, and the Greater Chicago Food Depository to combat food insecurity in Process Expo’s host city. FROM HUNGRY TO HOPEFUL: The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago’s food bank, believes a healthy community starts with food. They are at the center of a network of more than 700 partner organizations and programs –food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, mobile distributions, and other partners –working to bring food, dignity, and hope to their neighbors across Chicago and Cook County. In Cook County, 1 household out of 4 with children faces food insecurity. The Greater Chicago Food Depository provides 3 meals for every $1 donated to the DEFEAT HUNGER Campaign.
